Description

The reason why it's called a Pizza Heater

MoNoRi-Chan's PC was purpose-built to serve as his primary workstation for both work and gaming needs. The cooling system was carefully picked to sustain 24/7 operations and support the running of an XAMPP web server. The build's official nickname is Project-AlpinE which only known by himself and given a unique nickname, "Pizza Heater," arose from the heat output of the Gigabyte GTX980Ti GPU, which became a subject of lighthearted jest.

Upgrades

Over time, MoNoRi-Chan performed several upgrades to enhance the PC's capabilities. These upgrades included:

  1. Power Supply Unit (PSU): The Cooler Master G650M PSU had a coil whine issue so it was eventually swapped out for a Corsair RM750X power supply, offering increased power efficiency and reliability.
  2. Motherboard: The Gigabyte GA-H170-GAMING 3 motherboard was accidentally bricked by MoNoRi-Chan when he tries to change the boot logo and was RMA-ed and replaced with an ASUS Z170-A motherboard, providing better compatibility and advanced features for future upgrades.
  3. Graphics Card: MoNoRi-Chan upgraded the GPU to a Gigabyte GTX980Ti, which was sent to him from the USA by his mom. This high-performance graphics card offered superior gaming and rendering capabilities.
  4. Solid State Drive (SSD): To optimize storage speed, MoNoRi-Chan upgraded the original Intel 535 120GB SSD to a Samsung 950 Pro 256GB M.2 SSD. Despite the hefty price tag, this upgrade significantly improved system responsiveness and file transfer speeds. (Mainly when he starts his Computer)

Usage and Transition

MoNoRi-Chan relied on this PC throughout his studies in Bangkok at INT University, residing initially in XiNK Mansion and later in 𝙰𝟸-𝟻𝟷𝟿ラジオ. The build successfully supported his academic and personal endeavors, offering efficient multitasking capabilities and reliable performance.

Eventually, as MoNoRi-Chan prepared for his move to the USA, he underwent a liquidation of his assets. As part of this process, the fate of his beloved "Pizza Heater" PC was sealed when it found a new owner in Professor Atts, who recognized his value of friendship and took ownership under a "Promise to Pay" contract.

Conclusion:

Project-AlpinE, fondly known as the "Pizza Heater," served as a testament to his dedication to creating a high-performance workstation. From its initial specifications to subsequent upgrades, this build showcased MoNoRi-Chan's commitment to optimizing his computing experience. While it eventually found a new home, the memories and accomplishments associated with this PC would forever remain a cherished part of MoNoRi-Chan's journey in the digital realm.
